MISSION
At Delta Prevention we know that the real strength of a child's life is rooted in the family. As a team, we have served hundreds of parents, caregivers, children and teens by working with them to strengthen their skills and helping them work together to build strong & resilient families.
Our families are what guide us, mold us, and sustain us throughout our lives. But families can face many challenges: pressure, stress, communication, school problems, and behavioral problems. All parents and kids sometimes need support to help navigate life's stressors. Because we know that love is the heart of the family, we help strengthen the core by increasing the skills of families to both prevent problems and navigate their way through them together.
Strengthening families services
The Delta Prevention Team has been implementing Strengthening Families programming for over 20 years. Our team of experts in program implementation and support to make it as seamless and successful as possible to implement Strengthening Families. Each agency that we work with chooses from a menu that we provide. Our services include;
Grant writing support, program planning and staffing, recruitment and family engagement, delivery of the 14-week program, staff training in the evidence-based model, fidelity and quality assurance, cultural congruency, adaptation, and program evaluation support.
We designed our menu of services to ensure effectiveness as established in the evidence-based model.
